# Auto Credits

## How to Set Up Auto Credits on Krutrim Cloud

Auto Credits tops up your credit balance automatically, so your Krutrim Cloud services keep running without interruption. Approve once, and we take care of the rest.

### Before you begin

* **Where it works:** Auto Credits is for **Krutrim Cloud services only**. It **excludes Ola Maps**.
* **One-time approval:** You set your preferences once. After that, top-ups happen automatically whenever your balance runs low.
* **Non-refundable:** Purchased credits are non-refundable, so choose your top-up amount carefully.

### How it works

1. **Balance dips:** Your credit balance drops below the threshold you set.
2. **Auto-pay triggers:** Payment is charged automatically using your chosen payment method.
3. **Credits added:** Your credits are topped up and your services keep running without interruption.

### Step-by-step: Set up Auto Credits

#### 1. Open the Auto Credits page

Go to **Home → Administration→ Cloud Billing → Auto Credits**.

#### 2. Choose your payment method

In the **Payment method** dropdown, select **UPI** or **Card**.

#### 3. Set your threshold

In **When balance falls below**, enter the balance level at which you want a top-up to start.

* The **minimum threshold is ₹1,000**.

#### 4. Set your top-up amount

In **Credits worth**, enter the value of credits you want to buy each time a top-up is triggered.

* The **minimum is ₹1,500 (including GST)**.

Together, these two settings read like a simple rule: *"When my balance falls below ₹X, buy credits worth ₹Y."*

#### 5. Save your preferences

Click **Save Preferences**. The button stays greyed out until you enter both a threshold and an amount. To leave without saving, click **Cancel**.

Once saved, your rule appears under **Your Auto Credits Setup** at the bottom of the page. Before you set up, this section shows *"Auto Credits not set up yet."*

### Notifications

Whenever an Auto Credits top-up is **initiated**, you will receive a **notification**, so you always know when a top-up is on its way.

### Order and payment timing

When a top-up is triggered, an order is created first, and payment follows. There is a **25-hour window between the order being created and the payment being completed**.

### Cancel anytime

You can **cancel Auto Credits at any time**.

* Cancelling also **cancels any active order that has not yet been paid**.
* Orders that have already been paid are not affected, and their credits stay in your balance.

**Can I use Auto Credits for Ola Maps?** No. Auto Credits works for Krutrim Cloud services only.

**What is the lowest threshold I can set?** ₹1,000.

**What is the lowest top-up amount?** ₹1,500, including GST.

**Which payment methods can I use?** UPI or Card.

**Will I know when a top-up happens?** Yes. You'll get a notification whenever an Auto Credits top-up is initiated.

**How long between an order being created and payment?** There is a 25-hour window.

**What happens to an unpaid order if I cancel?** It is cancelled along with your Auto Credits setup.

**Why can't I click Save Preferences?** Enter both a threshold and a top-up amount first. The button becomes active once you do.
